1130am- Plant a Tree

NOT ACCEPTABLE: mattresses, hazardous chemicals, oil, paint, or appliances with Freon

*Paint can be dried out- add cat litter, or oil dry and dispose in the regular trash.

*Oil can be taken to Advance Auto for free to be recycled!

Tuesday, April 30th-Chipper Day

Residents should take branches of not more than five inches in diameter, leaving the branches as

long as possible, to the edge of the street where the Public Works Department will pick them up.

The Village will NOT go into private yards to retrieve branches. Please set out BRANCHES ONLY! NO

shrub, roots, leaves etc.

This is a great opportunity to work on exterior property maintenance. All exterior

property areas should be kept free of debris, objects, materials, rubbish, garage,

refuse and infestations. Exterior surfaces shall be maintained in good repair and

structurally sound.

Public Notice-Committee Meetings

The Hebron Public Works Committee will meet on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 5:00pm. The purpose of this meeting is to further discussion about a stormwater utility, park rules and pending flood improvements projects.

 

The Hebron Water/Wastewater Committee will meet on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 5:30pm to discuss an additional appropriation, impending impact on wastewater, and additional well field protection.

 

These meetings will be held at 934 W. Main Street, Hebron.

The Village of Hebron Economic Development Committee will meet on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 4:30 p.m.  The purpose of this meeting is: quarterly meeting, development update.

 

The Village of Hebron Community Development & Outreach Committee will meet on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is:  2024 events calendar planning and discussion.

Public Notice-Council Public Hearing (Zoning Amendments)

The Village of Hebron Council has scheduled a Public Hearing on
Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers, 934 W. Main Street, Hebron, OH 43025

The purpose of the Hearing is to review and discuss a recommendation from the Hebron Planning & Zoning Board regarding proposed Hebron Zoning Code amendments. The Planning & Zoning Board recommends the request be granted as presented.

The recommended amendments include:
• New regulations for Condominium Residential District (R6)
• Amendment to Appendix E (Zoning District Chart)
• Amendment to Chapter 1147 (Special Provisions-Fences)
• Amendment to Chapter 1179 (Subdivisions-Sidewalks)
• New regulations for Farm Animals (Residential)

UPDATE: the Special Council meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd has been CANCELLED.

Hebron Council will meet on Monday, January 22nd at 5:30pm, and Tuesday, January 23rd at 5:30pm to interview potential candidates for a vacant Council position. These meetings will take place at the Hebron Municipal Building at 934 W. Main Street, Hebron.
Council will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 121.22 (G)(1) relative to personnel matters.
